In this context, space arose for the development of literary and illustrated periodicals that had a significant reception from the reading public. One of them was A Madrugada, which circulated between 1894 and 1896, and whose main intention was to disseminate Luso-Brazilian intellectual production to both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
