This article is part of a Professional Master's degree research (PPGFP-UEPB), at Escola João XXIII, a rural institution in Pocinhos-PB, which aims to discuss the importance of black female authorship in children's literature from an anti-racist and decolonial perspective, from the analysis of the literary work Ashanti, nossa pretinha(2021), by Taís Espírito Santo, and promotes an intertwining between Literature and Eco-Ancestral Pedagogy in children's literary construction for (re)constructions of identity of children and childhoods in a positive way in order to combat racism experienced in the society. We used a bibliographic and descriptive methodological approach based on action-research. We started with literary studies and analysis of documents related to ethnic-racial themes, followed by narratives experienced during literary workshops in a 5th year class at a Countryside School. As a theoretical support we use Federal Law 10,639/2003, and authors such as Oliveira (2019), Duarte (2011) and Ribeiro (2017). We found the preponderant role that children's literature written by black female writers has in the the (re)construction and (re)existence of identity and black bodies in the children's and youth context and corroborates for the construction of critical and reflective thinking in a positive and empowered way about blackness and black identity; it promotes these actions intertwined with Eco-Ancestral Pedagogy, in order to combat institutional racism and social necropolitics.
