Analysis of the physics curriculum in the Potiguar High School Curricular Reference

This paper analyzes the teaching content and didactic suggestions of the Physics curricular in the Potiguar High School Curriculum. This is documentary research. To this end, the subdivision of the document's contents was compared with a collection of high school textbooks, then the didactic suggestions were analyzed regarding the possibility of working, yes, no or partially, with the physics content indicated by the reference itself. The results point to the need to study and deepen the curricular document, considering that there is an absence of important content and that the didactic suggestions do not fully cover them. Based on authors such as Sacristán and Malanchen, it reflects on the power relations that are involved in the development of curricula and how state policy reflects broader economic-social tensions.
